The Ballroom Dance Resource - This site has videos and instructions for basic steps in 10 different dances. There is also a video variation of the week that can be any type of dance. At the moment there are some technical difficulties if you don't have the right browser, but he's working on it, so hang in there!
Ballroom Dancing UK - This site reports on many of the world, UK, and US competitions, including the famed UK Open in Blackpool (as seen in "Shall We Dance?"). This is also the site to start with if you're looking for ballroom dance shoes.
The US Swing Dance Server - A comprehensive site with basic and intermediate steps for both East Coast/Lindy and West Coast written out (unfortunately no diagrams or video clips). This site links to most things swing on the web, including clubs, music, and articles about swing.
United States Amateur Ballroom Dancers Association - These folks were established way back in 1965 to "promote the acceptance of ballroom dancing into the Olympic Games." They are also the "government" for amateur ballroom dancing in the United States and run dancesport competitions.
Henry's Dance Hotlist - Henry's page is a great place to start. He lists everything from general links about ballroom dancing to more specific catagories like "argentinian tango" and a good number of supply resources. Also, he has compiled a good list of zydeco and cajun dancing on the web.
Sapphire Swan Dance Directory - If you're looking for a specific dance style, this is THE site. You can look up everything from salsa to scottish, clogging to ballet. The ballroom section is small, but links to several important sites.
Ballroom Connection - This website's name is fitting, especially if you want shoes or dance videos! The hustle collection by Steve Rebello is recommended by one of our club members.
Ballroom Dancing, DanceSport, Dance Supplies: Dancescape - You'll love the main page on this site, just make sure your speakers aren't turned up too high! This site is mainly dedicated to dancesport and has frequent updates on the many competitions. There are also links to supplies, cdroms, videos, you name it.

History of Dance - Articles on the history of many of the ballroom dances as well as a few articles on the history of dance itself.
